Porting over from WordPress

Hi, just making it known that the porting process from WordPress to Ghost hasn't been 100% glitch free and some articles are broken where they had image galleries or complicated alt text.

I'll have to go through and fix these up before this becomes my permanent writing home, but have already fixed up the image post which was the first indication the migration didn't go quite as planned.

The reason I'm doing this, I used to have an independently hosted WordPress, however it bothered me I couldn't just focus on the writing and ultimately couldn't trust the platform because I couldn't trust myself, so I moved to another host, which was great despite a few privacy-related hoops I had to jump through just to access the administration of the site.

Then helpfully that host offloaded their WordPress hosting to Automattic, the company behind the open source WordPress software, but also the owner of Tumblr. The CEO of the self-titled Automattic has a history of fighting with trans users on Tumblr, a site that is notoriously unusable because of the users, especially where they use platform manipulation to abuse and harass others.

So I found what looks to be a good host and here we are.

Just a heads up in case you find this before I launch it in any meaningful way.
